The Guaguancó is a Latin-Caribbean rhythm, which started in Cuba and Puerto Rico and has since spread throughout Venezuela, seducing listeners with its naturally simple yet compelling beat.

We are a group of friends, all lovers of nature and music, who have been exploring Venezuela and all it has to offer. We have swum in the Caribbean, strolled its beaches, lived with and learned from the indigenous people of the Venezuelan Amazon, navigated the rivers of Los Llanos, trekked and climbed our Andean mountains, visited hidden pueblos whose inhabitants have been sheltered for centuries by high mountains and difficult access, ridden horses through lush valleys, and circled the skies in our paragliders. We have fished for piranhas, been amazed at the beauty of our rich variety of birds, photographed anacondas, anteaters, capybaras, alligators, iguanas, and fresh water dolphins.

About eleven years ago, we decided to collect this wide range of experiences to share with other lovers of nature who haven.t had a chance to get to know Venezuela yet. And thus was born Guaguancó Tours, a company dedicated to exploring and sharing the incredible biodiversity of this country.
