A Letter from Rihana

Dearest Gebarius,

You dear, sweet, foolish, silly man! Whatever where you thinking, coming after us like that? It was a most heroic act that has forever endeared me to you. But don’t you ever do that again! Leave the dangerous quests to us fools and madmen.

I know you only wanted to help us, and that alone will get you all manner of hugs and kisses from me when next we meet… it will also earn you quite a scolding. And when I am done with that, I shall set about making sure this never happens again. I think perhaps I will find you a wife, someone who will give you many children and curb your wanderlust. Perhaps the fair Triana – she would keep you busy enough to find you out of troubles way.

I’m sure Dustdancer and others will have filled you in on the state of affairs in Lyrenn – we are working to take care of that right now. He will also fill you in on what happened to you, and why you should never try that again.

We are heading to Telyth to expose the dark source of the Abrantier’s power and to rescue Triana, Smaki, and all the other hostages those dark nobles hold. Don’t worry, we will return your family to you.

And don’t follow us, you bravely foolish man!

Stay in Lyrenn and help the people there with joy and song. Do what you can to speak out against the Abrantier. But above all, be safe. I want to see you again, alive and dancing, laughing and drinking. I do not like to see my friends and family die. Do not do so again, or I will be very displeased.
