A Letter from Grayn

I know not if you will ever accept me back into your fold, and I know and accept this now.

I fear that your distance from me is not aligned with a distance from dealing with the El-Sayal of the Deathwaste. I entreat you, my brethren, to not ignore them. They will not let themselves be ignored. They seek to expand the Waste further into Tariq and Saelis.

In my journeys since leaving the deserts, I have found companions, and we have gotten involved deeply with rebuffing a dark force that has taken domain over parts of the OtherWorld, and has been spreading a magical plague throughout the land. We have made great strides in preventing this godling from changing the balances.

But I fear I have been away from the north too long. I am here on a time-critical mission and have therefore sent this message to keep you apprised of my journeys.

I hope to soon return and speak with you closely in person and advise you further on the El-Sayal. I feel we must strike first in order to maintain the overall balance, for once they strike, it will be too late.

They are not some viper whose venom can be sucked out once bitten.
