Angaria is a world wracked by a dark history of magic and war, with scars running over the face of the planet, created primarily by the Dungeon Master over the course of several years.

The Path of the Paragon, where the Companions must prove themselves worthy of godhood, begins on this world of Angaria

Geography

The major continent of Angaria is Talanu, which is divided into the city-states and wastelands of Trall-Goth and the verdant empire of Kar-Thone by the magical desert known as the DeathWaste.

Off the coast of Talanu are Islands which march to their own drum, and provide special and mystical services for the mainland.

The globe is divided by the Essence Rift, a magical barrier erected by the Kaeron after the war--across the Rift lies the homelands of the Kaeron and unknown other lands.

Empires

Kar-Thone

The Empire of Kar-Thone is composed of the kingdoms of Grengon in the west, Caerbreddyn in the east, Saelis in the north, and Tethynara in the south. The imperial state, Perelinn, lies in the center.

Târiq

The desert nation of Târiq lies just north of the DeathWaste and borders the southern edge of Mag Mor.

Trall-Goth

In the northen lands of Trall-Goth, there exist the city-states of Mellik and Allesh-Gilliam, which constantly vie for superiority, and Norimar. The Plains of Mag Mor are home to hoards of barbarians.

The islands

The islands off of the Talanuan coast each have their own government and unique service. Saramor is home to the Navigators, who can pass through the Rift, Trigasha provides elite training, and The Daggers, a group of three small islands, remain mostly unknown.

Society

The society of Angaria can be seen through study of its pantheon and history --both of which have great influence on the calendar and holidays they follow.

The people of Angaria are varied, and include everything from elves to half-orcs.
